Randy Johnson brings 25 years of experience practicing real estate law in major Pacific Northwest law firms, which includes acquisitions and sales, leasing, development, and financing of all real estate asset types.
GENERAL REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE
Randy has vast experience representing local, national, and international businesses in developing and implementing their real estate and infrastructure strategies, and in addressing the wide range of issues concerning real estate ownership, development, and operation. Such experience includes acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, title and survey, zoning and land use permitting, construction, mechanics' liens, energy and sustainability, telecommunications and IT, regulatory compliance, environmental, tax, condemnation, bankruptcy and foreclosure, risk mitigation, and effective landlord/tenant and other dispute resolution.
Randy has particular experience and expertise representing national and regional retailers and shopping center landlords/developers in the acquisition, development, leasing, and management of retail properties. Such experience includes the negotiation, drafting, and closing of various forms of complex real estate transactions, including leases (ground, in-line, pad, build-to-suit, office, and warehouse/distribution) and purchase and sale transactions, as well as financing, construction, architectural, energy, supplier/vendor, CC&Rs, easements and licenses, options, and other agreements.
Randy also has extensive experience in acquiring and developing sustainable energy projects, such as wind, solar, and biomass projects, including related transmission facilities. He also well-versed in LEED, Green Globes, and other energy standards, and assists clients in completing sustainable real estate projects and transactions.
